Positive: We stayed at The Hen house for 2 nights whilst attending a weekend show at Goodwood. It's perfectly located for Goodwood at only a 10 minute drive. The host was super friendly and came out to greet us when we arrived. The house is modern but with a country feel which was lovely. It has everything anyone could ever possibly need and was super well equipped. The host provided some breakfast items including muesli, oats, milk, butter, bread, croissants and homemade marmalade (which was delicious) which was a really thoughtful and lovely touch. The whole house was super clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if in the area and would highly recommend!

Negative: My only very small complaint is that the bed was a little film for our liking. However I completely appreciate that this is personal preference and we still managed to sleep OK.

Positive: Beautiful soft furnishings and decor, everything was thought of and catered for. The care and attention to details meant that upon arrival we immediately felt at home and comfortable, enabling us to rest and enjoy our surroundings. Beautiful location. Brilliant, hope to return soon.

Positive: Location and convenience to local amenities. It was quiet…which is a big deal! Claire left some useful tips for pubs etc..

Negative: The bed and sofa were extremely uncomfortable. Limited cooking facilities…not a fan of the microwave combination. Very difficult to adjust lighting in the sitting room area…..needs some low lights! All of this could be so easily rectified.

Summary: Great to have a few days away. Good hub for our trip. We love the area.

Positive: It was a lovely peaceful location, not too far from Goodwood- which was ideal for us. We had a very short stay, but were very grateful to the host for how welcoming she was.

Negative: Slightly tricky to find, but other than this we just wish we had more time to stay.

Positive: Beautiful peaceful cottage in a quaint village close to the coast. Very clean, well decorated and well looked after. Small garden area to relax when we got home each day. Lovely continental breakfast supplied by the owners, lovely touch.

Negative: The cottage is quite small but adequate if you are heading out each day.
