Positive: The Hen Den is the perfect escape from the mania of city life. Beautifully remote, spotlessly clean and nestled in a delightfully rural spot with views to die for. The super-comfy beds and a very well equipped kitchen made this one of the best breaks we've had. The fresh (huge!) eggs brought to welcome us, and a bottle of wine in the fridge were just perfect. If you love peaceful escapism, being serenaded by the local wildlife and staring at the solar system against an ink-black sky then put the Hen Den and Shropshire at the top of your holiday bucket list. Just don't tell anybody else as we want to keep it for ourselves.

Positive: We were met on arrival, keys were in the door. No security risk due to the unique, quiet location. Views stunning from the property which was warm, clean and had everything we needed! The electric blanket was an absolute bonus and eased aching bones after a good walk. Hosts were great, welcoming and happy to help if we had needed anything. Some lovely additions in the property as well, e.g underfloor heating in the bathroom & boot racks which we certainly needed. Hoping to return in the not too distant future. Thank you.
