Our 'Haven' is situated on 2 tropical acres ideally located in the lush Byron Bay hinterland of Newrybar and only 1.5 km to the reknowned Harvest Restaurant and Deli and The Newrybar Merchants. A short scenic drive will take you to the beautiful bathing and surfing beaches of Suffolk Park, Byron Bay and Lennox Head. The villages of Bangalow, Mullumbimby, Lennox Heads, Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay will provide hours of pleasant strolling, shopping and a bevy of extraordinary dining choices to create the perfect getaway setting.
The just built, bright, airy pool house with a Balinese touch comprises a large queen bedroom, stunning ensuite and a spacious, open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area that overlooks the 12m lap pool, deck and surrounding gardens. Ceiling fans and gas heating provide a very comfortable temperature all year round.
A selection of breakfast treats is replenished daily and includes, gourmet muesli, fresh bread, home-made cookies, jams and spreads, a selection of black and herbal teas and freshly ground coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with hot plate/oven, microwave, coffee machine and full sized fridge. You are encouraged to make use of the gas BBQ located on the deck that overlooks the property and peaceful rural views - particularly beautiful at sunset.
CD and DVD players, flat screen TV and a selection of DVDs are available for your entertainment. Luxury bed linen, bath and beach towels provided for your convenience.

Summary: We had a lovely stay, it had everything we needed, including a coffee machine. The bed and lounge were comfortable and the shower was great. The surrounding gardens are just beautiful. Mark and Jenny were warm and welcoming and we loved meeting Monty the cat and Beau the dog. We can happily recommend The Haven.

Summary: The pool house and surrounds grounds are magical. Everything is meticulously maintained and sparkling clean. We were looking for a spot to relax for a few days at the end of a 10 day whirlwind tour of Sydney and Melbourne and this spot was exactly what we were looking for. The pool is wonderful and there are many places to sit and relax in and out of the sun at all times of the day. There was everything we needed for a short stay. The Haven is located in a lovely area of the Byron Bay hinterlands, 15 minutes from some amazing beaches around Broken Head and Lennox Head. There is no shortage of nice restaurants within a short drive. The furnishings are comfortable and the bed was great. I would highly recommend the Haven for a perfect escape for a couple to relax and connect.
