Positive: Beautiful rural location but easy drive into Shrewsbury. Room was clean, comfy beds and great shower. Dinner and breakfast were superb. Plenty of free parking.

Negative: It was wonderful, absolutely no complaints.

Summary: Fabulous! Would definitely stay there again.

Negative: I think the room we had may have previously been used by a dog owner. There was a distinct “Doggy” smell to the room which was not good. The bathroom was also rather cramped. Opening the door meant you couldn’t exit the bathroom easily

Positive: The property was beautifully located near Haughmond Hill and was close to Shrewsbury and other key points of interest. The staff were wonderful, but unfortunately we were really disappointed by the food. We ate here in the evening and the food was bland, with little taste. The breakfast was better but again we were left very disappointed since The Haughmond advertised its award-winning food.

Positive: Breakfast was excellent, set menu with choices, no self-service but was actually better than expected. Staff lovely and friendly.

Negative: Shower hose very difficult to remove. Room quite oppressive with only a small window and solid door in Boris room.
