Positive: Was pleased with the stay! Very nice neighborhood that felt very safe! Lots of families, kids walking home by themselves from school and police officers patrolling the neighborhood constantly. Street parking was available for overnight and we didn’t get any tickets. The unit was very clean and aesthetic. Was able to meet the owner Joe he told me that everything was fully renovated 3 years ago so it didn’t feel like we were sleeping on old, used furniture which was nice. I even took the couch while my fiancée took the bed and I had no problem sleeping there for the three nights. Thanks guys!
Negative: It’s unfortunate that there is things we didn’t like because it was a lovely place! If there’s any suggestions and or concerns to make.. it is the lack of communication with the owners as well as lack in basic resources— thankfully, they did address a few of them but we were a bit reluctant to be a bother with constant requests due to the home not being adequately stocked; just enough to get by ( eg. 1 full sized towel for showering, 1 garbage bag , no dish soap, 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 paper towel roll ) also couldn’t use the oven cause there wasn’t a baking sheet. It would be nice to have wifi ! but we were aware there wouldn’t be any.

Positive: Impeccably clean. This is not a hotel room, but a beautifully decorated one-bedroom apartment with excellent taste. When I return to Harrison, NJ, I will gladly stay at The Harrison again.
Negative: I liked everything; however, I have one observation: it is not recommended for elderly guests, as there is no elevator and the stairway is very steep.

Positive: The apartment on the top floor I was staying at was newly renovated and had all the comforts you may need. It is nicely decorated. The bedroom is spacious, there’s a closet. It’s a 15 minute walk to a Path train station that takes you to New York in no time.
Negative: Kitchen didn’t have much of kitchenware, and I cook my own meals. But as soon as I contacted the hosts about it, they have provided everything I needed.
