Positive: Great location by a beautiful small harbour with lobster boats and food truck and lobster pound. Continental breakfast with fresh fruit, fresh baked blueberry scones, yogurt and excellent coffee, juice etc. large room with sitting area, A/C (it was 90 degrees outside!). Beautiful veranda. Friendly and helpful owner.

Positive: Harpswell is worth a visit and this inn's setting is memorable. Breakfast was lovely! We had a little patio where we sat and could look out to the water.

Negative: The inn feels like a work in progress, which is fair enough because it is; it's not for those looking for all the usual hotel comforts. It's really remote, which is part of its charm, but eat dinner before you get there (the one restaurant in Harpswell was closed the day we were there) or bring along some provisions for dinner.

Summary: Memorable, remote setting; this inn is getting to great.
