Positive: What a beautiful Inn. We received a very warm welcome from Martin and Mel and we're able to check our bags in early. After an energetic walk up Hergest Ridge, we returned to find all thr pretty christmas tree lights on and the fire roaring, it all looked so inviting. Our room (number 1) was perfect, very comfy bed and stunning views of the valley. We enjoyed a wonderful meal by the fire in the evening and breakfast in the morning was spot on. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the summer.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like! Martin and Mel are the perfect hosts for owning and running this lovely old Inn. I just wish we lived down the lane...!!

Positive: Wonderful location. Old building therefore some low beams and winding stairs. Excellent food, well presented. Extremely positive and helpful staff. Top adjacent old church

Positive: The location was absolutely stunning, views to die for, you could not ask for a more quaint village setting. Staff were really friendly as well as the locals but the best bit was the food, we are still talking about it now. Superb!
