Summary: We have stayed twice. We love the rooms and the kitchen area. It can be loud due to live music that plays on weekends, but they end at a reasonable hour. Clean room and wonderful restaurant.

Summary: This is not a hotel for older guests. The stairway is long and steep with no elevator. We were in the Riley Room which was beautiful, but on the 3rd floor. Also the heat and a/c were a problem for our 2 night stay - too cold at first and then too hot when they adjusted with heating (the thermostat in the room did not work, so management had to adjust manually. Sam and John were helpful, but no one was there overnight). We enjoyed the Galley restaurant.

Summary: The hotel is in excellent condition, the room we stayed in (Ward room) was very clean and well maintained. There is a shared kitchen area that is very nice, bowls, Keurig machine, microwave, sink, refrigerator. When we found out about a concert in the same building we were concerned about the noise, it wasn’t bad at all really. Traveler tips: 1. Check in is at the Galley restaurant downstairs. 2. There are stairs to climb to the rooms. The staff was super helpful in carrying things and taking it slow. 2. If your check out happens to be on a Sunday or when the Galley restaurant is closed, make sure you check your room twice. We forgot something and couldn’t get back in or contact anyone. They did help us out later but it’s a good thing to know ahead of time.

Summary: This place is cooler than cool. It's extremely well maintained. Historical through and through. The rooms are larger than a typical hotel, with extremely high ceilings. A common area with snacks and refreshments just for the very limited # of rooms/guests. The restaurant and bar downstairs is great. And... despite being above the bar and restaurant (which close at a reasonable hour btw), I did not have ANY issues with noise. Lastly, the staff was 10:10 with checking in / assistance / checking out.

Summary: The Riley Room was beautiful with a super comfortable bed. Since there is no front desk, you check in at the Galley Restaurant/Bar and the staff checking us in was wonderful. This was our first visit to Marietta and to the Hackett Hotel and we will be back.

Summary: I enjoyed my stay. I chose the Hackett because it was close to Marietta College, where I needed to be for the Division II high school District track meet. It was a working stay-over, as I live over 100 miles from Marietta and did not want to drive back and still be up half the night to file my report and process pictures from the meet. I would stay there again, if I need to overnight in Marietta. Sam was good and helpful, showing me to my room. Thank you.
