Summary: There were a few hiccups, but staff was there to help and make everything better. Couldn't say enough about the the great service.

Summary: This is a historic establishment with all the character expected. It has all the amenities of a newer build, and is quite adequate. The restaurant serves a complimentary breakfast with the room rental and it was delicious.

Summary: The good-the Guv'nor was very conveniently located close to where I needed to be. The sheets & towels were clean & the staff at the front desk were helpful & efficient. The bad-the room smelled, I wondered if I would smell like it after spending a few days there. The bathroom toilet needed a good dose of javex & under the bed hadn't been cleaned in probably a few years. Overall, it worked for my purposes but I wouldn't stay again & I would have a hard time recommending it. It needs cleaning & updating!
