Summary: On arrival the room looked like it hadn’t been dusted. There was stuff on the countertops that even when we washed off the countertop, it didn’t come off. The blender was broke. The lid was missing and the base was was cracked. When we asked for more towels, we were told that we would have to wash our own towels. If we wanted more don’t stay in tower too. It’s the furthest from any of the pools in about a half a mile walk. On the positive side the rooms were extremely spacious, and the beds were very comfortable and it would be nice if there was soda, machine, machines, or water machines in each tower instead of having to go all the way to the lobby.

Summary: The Grove Resort is a beautiful property with great amenities and so much potential, but unfortunately, my one-night stay was overshadowed by poor organization and communication. From the start, check-in was slow and frustrating. I waited in line for 30 minutes and asked the manager if this was the only check-in area—she said yes with no hesitation.A simple question like “Which facility are you staying at?” could have saved us and others a lot of time and frustration. Unfortunately, she seemed too busy dealing with other guest issues to ask. I later found out there are actually two separate facilities—The Grove and The Terrace. After my long wait, the receptionist tells me, “Oh, you’re staying at The Terrace, you could have checked in there—but it’s ok, I’ll take care of you here.” When we arrived at The Terrace, there was no line at all. The water park shuttle was another disappointment. It operates “on call,” but after waiting with several other guests, the driver arrived in a small golf cart that could only fit 3 people. We waited again for quite some time before deciding to drive ourselves. Because of these delays—and the fact that the water park closes at 6 p.m.—my son only got about 30 mins to enjoy it. It’s a shame that so many mishaps occurred in such a short stay. The resort itself is lovely, but the lack of organization and clear communication seriously impacts our experience. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others until these issues are resolved.

Summary: First I want to say the property itself is very nice. The rooms are nice. The hallways smelled mildewy though and they are extensive and easy to get lost in. Here’s my qualms- #1 the stay was already pretty expensive- well whatever the booking fee is- you also pay $40-$45 a day resort fee and $25/day for parking. They provide you beach towels in the room for you to reuse and you have to wash them in the washer if you want. They don’t clean the rooms at all during your stay unless you pay extra. If you ask for towels that’s extra. The staff is not really very nice or accommodating. Especially the staff in the arcade. Completely unexpected. Here’s what the property offers Swan boats and canoes for $20 for 30 minutes or a bigger boat tour for $40 for 30 Fishing rods to fish. The water park is fun but not super big. It’s 2 big slides, a very small lazy river, a splash zone with 3 smaller little slides, a pool and the surfing instructor area. The surfing is extra- $35 per person for a $30 minute shared lesson. They have restaurants and of course these are overpriced. Outside of the water park area they have 4 pools right next to each other these close at 10. Water park closes between 7-8. None of the staff was super friendly from the get go. I will say that we had an amazing experience with Alex at the pier he WAS super nice and friendly AND Eric the surf instructor. My kids did the 30 minute surf lesson and he was incredible. They had an amazing time with that.

Summary: Highly disappointed do not recommend!!! From the beginning, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. If you plan on staying here don't stay here if you want a nice, good quality, peace and quiet, rest or good quality customer service stay. This place is like a Motel 6. People are playing loud music, screaming and yelling always. The walls are so paper thin you can hear your neighbors conversations along with the ceiling you can hear every step a person makes. Beds are cheap and extremely uncomfortable. Pro tip: TAKE SCREENSHOTS when booking. At check-in, the front desk tried to add over $300 in extra charges. When I explained I had already paid the required fees, the man at check-in scoffed and demanded proof. Thankfully, I had the screenshots to back it up, and only then did he reluctantly remove the charges. We will absolutely never return. Do not waste your money on this over priced "resort".

Summary: Checked in early but didn’t get to our room until 2 hours later. Overall the resort is beautiful! Family suite was very spacious and clean. Resort shuttled to and from the parks which was nice! We loved the water park and the variety of foods offered!

Summary: Arrived at 5:30pm. Very long line for check in. The room we got was very very far from pools. Asked for something closer, they had one but we had to wait. Finally received the room at 7:30pm. The room is for 6, so we had one sofa bad. There are no sheets, blanket and pillows for the sofa bad. No answer in room services from the room’s phone or from my iPhone for an hour! After went personally to front desk- still didn’t send nothing, then called again- finally answered but send the things after long time, but we fell asleep already, it was almost midnight!!. Slides pool is very very dirty. 10:00 am a lot of chairs but no shade.. all the chairs around the pool and with shade are saved for premium guests.. pool towels- not in pool area, only from the rooms(poor condition) We used to come here a lot, it was the best hotel, so I didn’t mind the reviews were bad. Now I understand why.. they used to have the best service, they answered every call, gave towels, came to pick up trash etc.. now nothing.. the room was fine. Big enough, clean sheets. A/C was bad, we couldn’t sleep all nights. The smell in the halls was terrible. Did not with the price. It used to be our first priority hotel. It used to be the best. I don’t think we’ll come again, we’ll have to find a new place.

Summary: First I want to start I been visiting this resort every year this one it my 4 year , it was terrible experience with the service , food and overall .First they customer service it was not great I ask for bath towel since we are 6 person on the room the said it only one for person the ,at the time a get to the room we have 4 towels , the provide provideme . The next day we go to the water park we find out the we need to carry the towels for the water park ,you need to wash this towels every day yourself it you want to used a the next ,we are on free time o vacation and we need to be responsible to wash are towel and used wet towel for the entire day the you in the pool It's really unpleasant to be reusing wet towels. On Saturday we are sitting by the lazy river and the presence of a raccoon treating next to us all day I told the manager and they did absolutely nothing. The breakfast at the Valencia restaurant it was terrible . really don't know if they don't have the staff to maintain proper hygiene service with towel washing. The service in General was very bad for the price of a reservation that is not cheap compared to other resorts around that area.

Summary: This was the first family trip in a very long time. We had an amazing time. The hotel was clean and the employees were anll very friendly and helpful. We loved the waterpark and the arcade. Only thing that we could complain about was our room location. It was on the first floor facing the lobby check in area. So while we tried relaxing on the patio it was hard due to the high number of cars and buses coming and going at al hours of the day and night. Also, waiting to retrieve my id after borrowing a luggage cart. Both times I had to wait a while for someone to come and assist me. We also had to ask multiple times to have our room restocked of paper products and trash bags.
