A Georgian gem of a country house hotel with a laid back luxury feel. A contemporary brasserie serving seasonal dishes, ingredients sourced from our favorite local producers, cocktail bar, drawing room and a wonderful Walled Garden for outside dining. Excellent WiFi throughout, private parking to the rear of the hotel and very dog friendly. The Hotel does not have a elevator. Come and see for yourself!

Positive: The staff were exceptional. Having suffered a fall on my first evening in Stockbridge, they dealt with my minor wounds and eventually took me to hospital to deal with a more serious injury. True compassionate service and kindness. Thank you so much.

Positive: The location, the staff and the room are all amazing. The Mackerel starter and the cheese dessert were exceptional!

Negative: The choice of food for Sunday was the same for both lunch and dinner.

Positive: Nice choice of food for breakfast and evening meal. The garden room was lovely. The staff were fab. Shout out to the hard working cleaning staff - room cleaned each morning and complimentary items replaced. Unexpected and very nice. Bed was huge and very comfy - nb the mattress was quite high and could be problem for shorter people than me :0)

Negative: Would have been nicer to have more room on a larger table - couples always seem to given small tables. I appreciate they were busy on the Sunday so it was to be expected. Carpark soon filled up - had to park right down the other end of the high street. Ok for us but maybe a problem for older non-disabled guests at busy times. Whilst I booked a while ago for my husbands birthday, including dinner on the Saturday night, we were put in the breakfast room instead of the dining room which was a shame. No mention of hubbys birthday either.
