Negative: Rooms are pricey. I was at the side of the hotel and it is the access for deliveries early in the mroning so noisy.

Positive: Location is fabulous with a great breakfast. Lovely old pub/hotel that could do with a bit of a freshen up as the rooms are a little tired, but it's the perfect place to stay if you're fishing or just exploring the Test Valley.

Negative: The bedrooms can get a little hot in the summer.

Positive: A lovely stay. Beautifully appointed room and bathroom. Stylish and very comfortable. Soft drinks and water in the room, and the fan were a very nice touch. Main road is busy at timew, but the room was double glazed, also with a heavy soundproofing curtain. Room tip: We were on the ground floor though, and didn't feel happy opening the window. Next time we'd probably choose a room upstairs or at the back. But all good. The people were lovely. Friendly and professional. We felt very welcome. We loved the gardens and riverside,setting. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Negative: View from the bathroom needs attention, it was tired and a bit scruffy. Sorry, hope this helps.
