Positive: Location not the best, courtyard was pleasant

Negative: The doors need sorting did get any sleep till 2am all i could hear was the door next to me being slammed every 30mins. Also they didn't serve evening meals.

Positive: It is a great old building with lots of character. Very clean throughout and very helpful staff. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the rooms have a character that makes them special. The breakfast is freshly prepared and first class. I had stayed here before, so being in the area again, my choice of hotel was a no-brainer.

Positive: The room was very comfortable, I had my wee dog with me so we were away from the main building which was excellent as I wasn’t worried about the dog being a nuisance. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally well cooked and a good variety of produce. The staff were delightful, very friendly and made me feel so welcome. This is my second or third time staying and it like a home from home for me , so accessible for the town etc.

Negative: I can’t think of anything, all was lovely.

Summary: Warm friendly comfortable hotel, food was beautifully cooked, good location. Excellent value.

Positive: Was what you’d expect from an old ‘character ‘ property. Everything worked well, room was fine, part of the charm was finding it around twisting narrow corridors. Staff were excellent, nice cosy bar with a great freshly cooked ‘full English’ for breakfast. Car park at the fear was very close to rear entrance ( although it’s not free, is not expensive)

Negative: Needs to be noted that they don’t offer lunch or dinner. Was not a problem to us as there’s a hotel across the road that did, and was fine but it’s a busy road, so my not suit everyone

Positive: This is the second time I used the Greyhound for an overnight stay whilst visiting parents. Was a pleasant stay as always. Comfortable, with everything you need.

Negative: Its an old building and so walls are paper thin, could hear full use of the bathroom in room next door whilst falling asleep and again was woke by the rooms use of their shower. Shower heads could do with an update, not very powerful.
