Summary: This was such a fantastic stay! We came down from Washington DC suburbs for a long weekend visiting Grayson Highlands State Park. The cabin is an easy 15 minute drive from the park, which gave us such great flexibility because we could wake up early, go to the park and hike for a few hours, come back “home” and reset, and then go back out again for more hiking. The hosts thought of every detail, great and small. I lost track of how many times I thought to myself “Gosh, it would be really great if the cabin had…” and sure enough, there it was. Just little things like dish soap or laundry detergent or a candle lighter to start a fire in the fire pit.We loved the location next to the creek - such a far cry from big city suburban life! Could just sit on the porch or sit by the fire pit and unwind. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!!

Summary: Quiet and small little cottage extremely clean and tidy even under the furniture. It had a nice little stream right on the other side of the driveway. Our dog particularly enjoyed rolling in cool grassy lawn!
