Summary: What a quaint and beautiful bed and breakfast in the peaceful and quiet little river town of Elsah, Il. Owners are very accommodating and the breakfasts were awesome! Grafton only few minutes away and Alton fairly close also. The owners even made us a fire in the fire pit one night. Place was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Summary: So relaxing and beautiful surroundings! Our hosts were amazing and the cookies at check in were so delicious!! The town of Elsah is literally you taking a step back in time! Over 50% of the town is the original buildings from the mid 18 hundreds! The Bald Eagles were very active when we were there! Our hosts gave us a private tour of the town’s museum it was amazing! You can’t go wrong staying there and visiting

Summary: We really enjoyed our evening away at Green Tree Inn! We were coming down south for car show in Alton but we were looking for a unique place to stay close by and Green Tree exceeded our expectations. The owners are a delight. Room was comfortable and classy. Breakfast and afternoon treat was delicious. Felt like a home away from home. If we have the opportunity to come back we deffinitely will.
