Summary: We weren’t warned there would be no breakfast on Christmas Day or Boxing Day - thank goodness we could go down the road to family! Our night was also very disturbed by other punters banging doors all the way up to 2am because of the Yale locks on the doors. It was fine, but it wasn’t an indulgent or restful Christmas break.

Summary: We arrived late in the evening but had been told there would be a note on the front door telling us which room we were in in the courtyard rooms. There was no lighting outside and there was no note on the front door. We couldn't see a key in any room because it was so dark. We tried calling the number but no answer. We knocked on the doors of the main building as there were lights on upstairs, no answer. We ended up sleeping in the car overnight and when we went in to the pub in the morning we were made to feel it was our fault because the front door that overlooked the road is no longer the front door it is the side door and door around the corner is known as the front door! We found the more on that floor but it was actually in a post frame which we assumed was advertising events. After that the start was c ok. Rooms are rather tired and privacy in the rooms isn't as such because the room overlooked the car park at the same level and it would have been nice to have a net curtain so as not to have to shut out the daylight. The bathroom needs some attention as there was black mould around the window frame and it was shabby and cold no heating.

Summary: Stayed here on several occasions,this time very disappointed. The room wasn't very clean, mould in bathroom, dirty windows and broke window latch, this was after being given a room we couldn't even get into!
