Summary: Friendly service and good evening meals,competitively priced. Rooms could do with refurbishment, which we are advised is in hand. Unusually, no towel rails/clothes hooks in room.

Summary: Great place to say with exceptional food as always even though we didn't eat there on dinner there on this occasion. We had a very comfortable sleep. The room was lovely. Guy is very friendly and goes over and beyond to cater to your needs and so do the other two gentlemen. We had a full English which was sublime. Compliments to the chef EVERYTIME. We look forward to staying again. Hats off the whole team!

Summary: The staff are so lovely hear, it doesnt feel souless or impersonal as some places can. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I feel very welcome.

Summary: Very welcoming & couldn’t do enough to help. It’s in a beautiful place & really well set up for easy access to local amenities & Bedford. Cute restaurant, lovely dining area and quaint rooms.

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, the food was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Summary: Positive first - Staff great. Friendly and warm. Negative- Dinner had to be returned. Should have been rare steak but was dry as a bone and well cooked. Bed was lumpy, needed replacing, room clean but in need of lots of tlc. Curtains thin (lining to darken the room) and needed re-hooking, porcelain cracked in bath and black mould around rim. Lots of marks on furniture and walls.
