Summary: Lovely old pub with character. Great full English breakfast and very friendly staff. There is street parking available but would recommend the parking behind the church opposite. It's only a couple of quid for all day. Make sure that you try out the selection of ales and ciders available at the bar.

Summary: The Green Dragon is very central in Wellington. Useful for us to explore the footpaths in the Wellington Basin & surrounding areas. Our room with a modern en-suite was very clean especially for an older building. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. Parking was easy to drop off the luggage but a limited time only. It wasn’t a problem because the public car park was nearby & not very expensive for a whole day. The locals liked the bar but we weren’t drinking so we didn’t use.

Summary: Both the bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well equipped. The breakfast was good but there was only 2 choices of cereal. There was only one member of staff on duty on Sunday (9th August) and she did an excellent job taking orders, making drinks and cooking for all the guests. All the staff were welcoming and helpful.

Summary: Our room was rather hot with the sun streaming in through the window, so when we arrived the room was warm, and there were no aircon or fans in the room. However, we did ask the staff for a fan and one was provided. We did not get room service during our stay, not sure if they had missed us out. Breakfast options were a bit disappointing, it's okay if you like having a cooked breakfast.. no fresh fruit or yoghurts available. Our bedroom was above the bar, so slightly noisey in the evenings, can hear the bar noise and a customers dog barking. The stairs to our bedroom was very steep and difficult while trying to carry our bags up the stairs and at times no railings to hold on to. The room and bathroom was very clean, bed very comfy and a nice roomy shower.

Summary: Great stay, room clean and spacious bathroom with nice walk in shower, staff very friendly and hardworking, and a lovely breakfast, will be definitely be staying at the Green Dragon when next visiting Wellington!!

Summary: Thank you for asking lovely stay. We came as part of the Birthday party and we welcomed and enjoyed our stay. Location was good too and managed to get the chance to explore.

Summary: Nice room and bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathroom radiator was on full despite it being the hottest night of the year so far. Facing the main road was ok. Unfortunately, various people decided to use the benches outside of our room to chat and review how their Friday night had gone throughout the night we were there. Waited an hour for the cooked breakfast and when it arrived it was so salty that it was inedible.
