Summary: Had a great stay! The location is excellent in a beautiful location that has lot's to see and do. The property itself is equally gorgeous and historic. (The breakfast room, in the former library and logia, feature lovely woodwork and is warm and comfortable.) The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean.

Summary: We had high hopes. The decor is beautiful. The room had portions which obviously hadn't been cleaned in some time. The bartender was helpful, but at over $10 for 1 well drink, i didn't feel was intriguing enough to stay for a bit. Breakfast was better than most, but i felt like the male staff were visually obsessing over me to the point of feeling very uncomfortable. One actually stared and "moaned" as he looked me up and down. Location was perfect for our visit. I was NOT happy about the $15 added parking bill, which was NEVER disclosed prior to receiving the bill at checkout. At over 200 a night, not many guests, in a private parking lot, I would expect parking on site was a given rather than a hidden charge.
