Summary: Lovely clean room, friendly staff, and great powerful shower! Our only complaint was the room was so hot and we couldn't turn the thermostat down! Also breakfast not served until 8.30am on a Sunday and we had to check out then so we missed it.

Summary: The staff seemed disinterested, the cistern filled up every few minutes, all night as the toilet was running constantly and no good for someone with an early start as the breakfast was not served until 8.30am.

Summary: No shelves or hooks in bathroom, it was either the toilet cistern top, the floor or the arms of the disability supports. Chairs in public areas uncomfortable, some broken. Food very poor at most average. The very young staff did their utmost to be friendly and helpful and were the saving grace of a premises being allowed to fall in standard from our visit there last year.

Summary: Breakfast started too late. Presumably there are quite a few guests who need to be on the road by 8.30. So I got no breakfast as I needed to be away by 7.30.

Summary: Room was very good but food was poor. Most of the staff seemed to be under 20 and called customers ‘mate’ . Definitely seemed to lack some experienced personel. I stayed here before and it was really good and has definitely gone downhill.

Summary: All good - Hotels.com need to relist the economy rooms without breakfast. We bought our breakfast which was very good. Staff friendly and willing to asdist when beeded. Lovely pub and friendly village.

Summary: A very country inn at the centre of the small town. The room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fr eshly cooked and tasty

Summary: Great hotel with fabulous food. Only let down was the waiting staff who needed a bit of training. They didn’t tell us that 3 out of the 8 starters and 1 main course were unavailable until we tried unsuccessfully to order them. She also plonked the wine on the table but had forgotten to uncork it!! However the staff were all very lovely. We were in room nine and they was a really annoying noise in the plumbing system that went off every 90 seconds throughout the whole stay.
