Summary: The George is a lovely, old-fashioned kind of hotel in a small village. Check in was a little confused as we missed the sign that said reception but once we found it, it was easy. The room was spacious with a king sized bed, kettle, desk and chair. I was extremely impressed with the breakfast. Tea, coffee, juice, cereal and toast then a cooked choice from the menu. Staff were super friendly and helpful. A lovely stay and we would definitely return.

Summary: Stayed in a tired room with mattress very old; full of springs. Previous occupants medication not removed. Room was expensive for what we got. (Room 8)

Summary: The hotel/pub is run down and the rooms extremely poor. The bathroom was dirty with walls with stream marks. The only mirror was so high i could only see the top of head. The bed was very soft and the glass door to the outside had no curtain. Most lights didn’t work. The bathroom had poorly cut planks of wood as a wall.

Summary: There was a huge party going on in the pub, a member of the party went to find someone to hep us!! Our room was a ground floor room with a full glass door, there was no cover for the door, so no privacy and as soon as the sun was up so were we!!! Terrible
