Summary: The inn and restaurant were wonderful. I probably had the best hot lobster roll I’ve ever eaten. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. Only issues were we found a dirty sock on the floor in room 6, and when we went downstairs for coffee at 7am, there was no sugar and not enough creamer. Also, before dinner we went outside to sit on the 2nd floor deck, but quickly discovered that the area under the deck is where the smokers hang out. So it was a little unpleasant. All were minor things and won’t deter us from staying and/or eating there again!

Summary: Great location right in the center of Charleston. The hotel history was very unique. Had a fantastic sleep in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner and also a breakfast for ourselves and friends in the morning. Grounds had a flea market that was fun to walk around. Will be back next summer!

Summary: Hi, We enjoyed our stay. The room is small, but quaint. My wife suggested a couple of enhancements that would make it easier to get ready for an outing. Adding a mirror in the bedroom area with lighting to allow for makeup and/or add lighting above the mirror in the bathroom. There were a few people sitting outside our window on the patio and talking after 10:00 Friday night. They weren't too loud, but you might consider a policy limiting sitting outside Room 3's window after a certain time. Thx for listening.

Summary: The hotel was immaculate. My bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were fantastic. There was a snow storm over night and in the morning one of the staff members was working a clearing snow and took the time to come help me clear my car of the ice and snow. Really exceptional and greatly appreciated. I will be back for sure.

Summary: The General Stanton Inn is a nice find in Charlestown, RI. I stayed with friends on New Year's Eve just to get out of the city. Booked with Hotels.com and the whole process was flawless. They even upgraded my reservation.

Summary: Lovely historic property. Comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms, warm environment. Continental breakfast was excellent with fresh out of the oven blueberry muffins and the most amazing homemade butter! I'm coming back!

Summary: The shower was very large. Had to turn the shower on in order for the sink water to get hot. Kind of unusual. Property has a definite old time feel to it. No tv in the room.
