Summary: Quiet, adult retreat with quaint touches that really showed the care and consideration that went into decorating the accommodation. Beautiful, luxury linen. LOVED the loft bed. waking to the birds and looking across damp paddocks in the early morning and listening to the train whistle im the distance.The cosy fire was worth the effort of bringing a bag of our own wood albeit the accommodation has reverse cycle air conditioning as a mod con...if visiting in the cooler months an open fire is a romantic must in my opinion. Thankyou to Wayne and Jeni...lovely hosts. We will definitely be back.

Summary: This stone house was perfect to disconnect from the city, make fire, walk in the nature and see animals. We enjoyed a lot this 2 days out there.

Summary: Very comfortable and well appointed accomodation. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Quite a few animals to say hello to as well! Would definitely recommend this for a self contained weekend away.

Summary: My friends and I stayed two nights at Katrine Steading and we could not fault any of it. Our hosts were super lovely, the little breakfast let for us was so special. The buildings, garden and yards are lovely. Would certainly recommend for a nice quiet weekend away. Katrine Steading is situated perfectly for visiting surrounding towns and areas.
