Amazing 115 year old cottage with a wrap around porch. Perfect for a party of 4. Enjoy a cup of coffee from our unlimited coffee bar and watch the sun come up on the half wrap around porch. In the evenings, feel free to warm up to our fire pit (made from the torn down chimneys of the house) and a nice glass of wine. Relax, renew, and enjoy being in the country. Summary: Cutest and cleanest property! Stayed here for a girls trip and it was adorable. Very nice and quiet on a dead end street and the owners do the little things that make you feel welcome. We will be back!

Summary: Our stay exceeded our expectation. The home is as described. Old and filled with character. We loved every rooms decor and the porch was amazing. The escape from our busy, noisy, city lives was a blessing. The owners were extremely easy to communicate with and had stocked the house with every needed essential. We were definitely pleased with this rental and will use again.

Summary: The property was easy to access. It was in a nice spot between state parks and close enough to Sparta for dining out. Communication was excellent. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

Summary: Wonderful change from hotel living! I stayed for 9 days, and it was a great, cozy change from the constant dullness of a hotel. I quickly felt at home. To the point that when I got home I felt weird to be here LOL. The house has old bones that they have restored, and the decor is cozy and quirky. Very welcoming. Recommend.

Summary: We have stayed at this property twice and I won't stay anywhere else in Tennessee! The house is beautiful, the neighbors are incredible and the owners are the best! If you want to thoroughly enjoy your vacation, definitely stay here!!! Rachel and Stephanie are the best and communication was excellent. The property is minutes away from everything you could want.

Summary: Cute little house. I was walking barefoot and my foot got splintered from the old hardwoods in hallway. My kids were so scared in the house they slept in floor of my room. I thought it was creepy in cool kind of way. Overpriced but overall I enjoyed the stay. The property owners we’re incredibly nice and easy to communicate with.

Summary: This house is super cute and with so many interesting details...it was very fun to look all around at the art and various decorations, and the primary bedroom was good and well appointed. Our only issues were the secondary bed (my daughter said it was very uncomfortable and slanted to the side when she slept) and that the listing said it slept 6. My teenage son was not keen on sharing the small (double?) bed with his sister, so we made up a bed on the couch for him. Only the couch dipped at the middle and he complained of back issues! I read another review that an air mattress could be requested, but not until we were about to leave. I would suggest in the future just having the air mattress in a closet at the house, so when people realize the house does not really sleep 6 at midnight, they are not upset. The only other issue we had were TONS of tiny little spiders (in the shower, the lampshades, etc.) which my husband took care of for the rest of us! These issues aside, it is a very cute house and we found it to be a unique and relaxing getaway! We loved the proximity to Rock Island, which totally knocked our socks off! Overall, this house is worth the stay, but a few tweaks would make it truly fantastic! Thank you to the host for your hospitality!

Summary: House presents better in pictures than in real life. And I love old houses. Just a few tweaks and I would stay there again! White sheets. (so we know they are bleached when washed) Fix the floor joists in king bedroom. Put a larger vanity in bath. King bedroom needs lighter paint or better light fixtures. Not big bucks but would make a big difference!
