Summary: First time visiting The Galmont, although the food was exquisite, some of the services let it down very badly! Róisín on reception was very good with an excellent check-in! Room 501 is a lovely room

Summary: Room was very comfortable. Food at both breakfast and dinner was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel in a great location, easy to walk into town etc.

Summary: The breakfast was nice, but could do with the hot breakfast more hot cause it was just warm. The sausages could be cooked more. Other then that it is a great hotel. Good location & the staff are very friendly & great at their job. We have stead here 3 times & we will be back again.

Summary: Booked for 3 people and was given a room with two single beds. No apology for error. Drinks order forgotten in restaurant for dinner. No mention of tray service charge when ordering a sandwich from room service. On hold 20 mins before could order room service. No parking available in hotel car park. Booked deep tissue massages and neother of them were deep tissue.

Summary: Beautiful hotel. hotel was quiet which was great for a good night sleep. Room was clean and Beds were comfy. breakfast was brilliant. Huge Variety available to suit everyone. booked for 3 people and for a steep price of 272 euro for one night and my thoughts overall are quite disappointing. Photos of the room were obviously mis leading (1 double, 1 single in photo) as only 2 single beds in the room when we arrived. 2 bottles of water, 2 dressing gowns. 2 of everything. Room not prepared for 3. Roll out bed arrived after a quick call to reception. One dressing gown was stained in makeup so unable to use. Vending machine empty on our floor so had to go to the shop for more water. Decided to dine out in city centre and take the car. Upon arrival back to hotel, car park was full and we got stuck waiting at the barrier for some time. Went to the bar for a drink and to relax and couldn’t find anyone to serve us a cocktail. We were told “there was an event happening and all bar staff were busy trying to accommodate the guests who were present at the event” Had to settle for a more “simple” drink that was “quick” to prepare. This Was probably the most disappointing thing of all during our stay. That service is absolutely unacceptable no matter how much someone pays for a room. Left the bar after the 1 drink and called it a night. Although a beautiful looking hotel with a scenic view of the lake, The cons do out weigh the pros and I definitely would not be returning again.
