Positive: The place is spacious and well laid out and very clean. The hosts were very thoughtful and left us some fresh bread, milk and eggs (perfect since we arrived quite late and didnt have to worry about breakfast). Requested a late checkout at noon which was available on this stay, which made for a much more relaxed departure. The beds were very comfy and the views were beautiful.

Negative: Some frosted coating on the window nearest the toilet would be helpful. Whilst people on the street probably couldnt see in, it felt quite exposed so we left that blind down for the majority of the stay. Parking is on the hill next to the property and feels a little bit dicey as the hill is so steep, that said we had no problems in the end and there was plenty of space to park, but a less confident driver may prefer to park over the road where it is less steep. Would also have been nice if there was a bit of wood for doing the fire, but I understand if the hosts might not want that as not everyone knows how to operate wood burners cleanly and safely and tidy up after themselves. Still, would have been nice to have a crackly fire with our books and masala chai in the evening.

Positive: Stunning renovated cottage. Lots of thought and detail has gone into the facilities to make it feel so comfortable and like it’s your own home and not a holiday let. The most comfortable big bed, lots of storage space and little extras in the bathroom. Everywhere was spotless and smelt lovely!! Absolutely beautiful place! Casey & Andrea were so accommodating and helpful.

Negative: Nothing, all the charm of an old cottage but with modern luxuries and lots of space!

Summary: Clean, cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend

Positive: Very clean and stylish, comfy, nice little garden. Kitchen well appointed with everything you need. Shop and pub nearby as well as gorgeous countryside.

Negative: Just a bit dark downstairs due to small windows and large trees! But adds to the charm.
