Positive: The hot tubs, pool and sauna were wonderful. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the ocean.

Negative: The room was a bit noisy at night for the light sleepers with me. You can easily here sound from other rooms.

Negative: Noise from other rooms was an issue and kept some of the people I traveled with awake at night.

Positive: The resort had nice pool and spa facilities and our room was clean and spacious. It was clearly a quiet time of year, and things were pretty empty. The breakfast was good and included in the price of the stay.

Negative: The pool and spa facilities have very poor hours on weekdays, not opening until 3pm and closing at 10pm. We arrived late (around 9pm) on our check-in day, which means we didn't get to use the facilities at all that day. We stayed two nights, but because the facilities didn't open until 3pm, we weren't able to use the spa or pool on the day of our check-out either. This was disappointing, and it felt like we didn't get a very good value for our two-night stay. Additionally, the pool requires that you were a swim cap to use it. Unfortunately the pool store at the hotel was not open at the same time as the pool facilities, so we had to leave the resort to purchase a swim cap elsewhere before we could use the spa. The resort is a bit far from anything else, so I suggest having a car or scooter when you visit. Although the hotel has a shuttle, it only goes to the Zhiben railway station, not the further afield Taitung station, so be careful about trying to combine your stay with a trip to Taitung if you don't have a car or scooter.
