Positive: Excellant food, knowledgable and helpfull staff. You could taste the fresh locally sourced ingredients in the food. Decor was stylish and in character to age of the property with a modern twist.

Positive: Good breakfast, decent size room, great location near the manor (staying at the five areows gives ypu access to the grounds and manor). Great restaurant. Reasonable price. But above all, fantastic staff. Many thanks to Sally from reception who drove us to the train station when our taxi was very late - absolute life saver !

Negative: Breakfast is 7:30 to 9:30, which is a bit of a narrow range as we had to skip the cooking breakfast when leaving early and when we woke up a bit late. Next time!

Positive: Hannah our evening dining server was an absolute diamond! We had a brilliant evening, delicious food, fine wine and Hannah was the icing on the cake.

Negative: The mention of £7.50 extra per night as an extra bed charge was unexpected and unfathomable! The room cost was already more than ample in our opinion.

Summary: A wonderful time added to by a wonderful member of staff.
