Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The house is superb. Perfect for friends to enjoy all the nooks and crannies - we loved the little Scandinavian bbq hut, the swimming pool and the hot tub! Inside we enjoying playing pool and table tennis and we held a beautiful dinner party for the 8 of us making full use of the lovely kitchen and dining table.

Negative: The en suite bathrooms on two bedrooms without a family bathroom for the other two was awkward. We are a group of friends so it was a bit awkward for 2 couples not to have access to a bathroom. The kitchen is lovely but the crockery & cutlery needs updating/ adding to. Especially didn’t like the plastic glasses. I hosted a 7 course dinner served with plastic wine glasses. Didn’t sit right. I actually bought extra plates and a few other bits which we took home because small things were missing - measuring jug, tea towels, kitchen spray, floor cleaner.

Summary: Lovely stay! Would come again!

Negative: Lack of communication when we couldn’t get hot water, 3 phone calls made to on call phone number to be told someone would be in touch. No one called back
