Summary: My home in NYC! The hotel is beautiful and the staff incredibly kind, thoughtful and welcoming.

Summary: Unfortunately, first impressions weren’t great: there was no staff at the front door to even help open doors, let alone help with bags. There was no one at the check-in counter, but a bunch of people and bags crowding the front reception area. They were so slow to attend to people. Not at all a 5-star experience. Super irritating to spend nearly $2000/night for such poor service. The only reason a person pays that kind of money is because you can go anywhere for a room; you’re expecting the service to be over the top awesome. They also advertise services like offering spa services (facials mostly), and after I checked in and inquired about that because I saw it on their Amenities Offered sheet in the room, I got a call back from a rude employee telling me they don’t offer these services anymore (like it was my fault for even inquiring).
