Positive: Perfect stay ,the food was exceptional,all the staff were lovely couldn’t fault anything,the changes made to the hotel ( new windows/roof) have made such a great difference ☺️

Negative: The only little thing is the seating area for drinks could do with being redone (upholstered) not a big deal but it would definitely make a difference ☺️

Summary: Perfect relaxing night away after a shopping trip was perfect for us

Positive: I liked the warm welcome and the large warm well appointed groundfloor room. The food was scottish in that is was plentiful, tasty and basic. The staff and service was always sufficient and I never wanted for anything. I'd stay again without hesitation.

Negative: Slightly overpriced food and drink. For the food this might have been down to staying at new year. Bar prices were surprising but not stupid.

Positive: Location suited us as it was close to family; excellent value for money; large room, big bed abd table wirh two chairs, ; room warm when we arrived; very comfortable and clean; staff very helpful and friendly; have stayed before but clear that there have been many improvements since our last visit; major investment included replacing windows with triple glazing that has eliminated noise from the nearby roads ; this resulted in a more relaxing stay and better sleep ; free parking; simple but lovely breakfast; what more do you need? Well done everyone at THE FENWICK HOTEL
