Summary: Spent a week here for a family vacation that included 8 adults, 5 children & 3 dogs. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone- very comfortably . Pool table & hot tub were a huge hit with the adults. Massive backyard that was perfect for soccer, 3 legged race & wheelbarrow race. Best part was the beach area- private beach, nice dock & float. Grandkids had a wonderful time swimming & jumping off the dock & float. Rented kayaks , which allowed us to access the beautiful pond. Paul was very receptive to questions, which was a bonus, My grandson had such a great time that he wants to come back next year !

Summary: The farmhouse was big enough for 8 adults and 6 children. The beach area and shallow water was great for the smaller Grandkids. The stove was a little tough to get use to. Only one burner at a time got hot enough. But we all managed. The spaces to sleep were big enough so each family had their own space.

Summary: Great getaway spot for a quick vacation weekend near a lake. The house is comfy, a bit small in the bedrooms, but otherwise nice. Some things are modern in the house, while other things are a bit out of date. For instance, the wifi couldn't handle us streaming the bruins game. Not an issue, but just an inconvenience. There are also a ton of spiders around. A few of us got a bit of bites. Something to look out for.

Summary: We stayed at the Farm at Worthley Pond over New Years. 4 families, 7 kids. We had a wonderful time. Looking at the stars at night from the hot tub, ice fishing, and a wonderful find, Black Mountain Ski Resort (non profit, no lines, nice people, BAR...) where all our kids learned to ski. The house is older, but very cozy. everyone slept very well. The owner Paul was very quick to answer questions and the manager Tim was there right away to plow. I am hoping to go back over the summer or maybe next year winter. K

Summary: My family has been renting here for 7 years and it is the highlight of our summer. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out, well stocked and the lake is perfect! The owner, Paul, is responsive and his support staff in Maine are wonderful, we had a small issue with the hot tub this year and the maintenance men worked hard to get it fixed so we could enjoy it during our stay. The remodeled kitchen work was needed and it is truly remarkable the difference it makes in the home, open, clean and so easy to enjoy meals with a large group. We can not wait to come back next summer, thanks so much Paul for sharing your wonderful home!

Summary: Our huge family vacationed back at The Farm this year after first renting last August. The moment I stepped into the front door I said, "We're home!" How great it felt! The bedrooms were very comfortable! We could hear the loons during the night! The pond was gorgeous and quiet...every day we would sit out on the beach and just relax by the water! Of course we made good use of the boats and raft on the property. Our host was extremely responsive to our needs. We called him for a firewood delivery and it was delivered the same day! Our family is looking forward to our third year next August!

Summary: We booked the farmhouse for a large family get together. The house and grounds greatly exceeded our expectations. The pictures provided do not do justice for what the house has to offer. The house is huge and offers plenty of space for everybody to be togehter, or room to go away for a few moments of peace and quiet. The yard is awesome and the pond is so big and clean. We were able to swim, kayak (we brought our own) canoe, paddle boat, play volleyball, horshoes, bocce and other lawn games while still others enjoyed the hot tub. The deck has been expanding and offers a great relaxing atmosphere. The entire area was very quiet with little to no traffic and the pond was not overly crowded with boats. All that we needed beyond food and clothing was provided by Paul. We are definitely planning on going again real soon.

Summary: We booked The Farm for the week of the Fourth of July to have our daughter's wedding and it was absolutely the BEST experience! The accomodations are terrific. The contract is very clear what is expected of us. Everything that we needed was very handy - everything is labeled and instructions are all included with everything. We arrived on Saturday night, had the wedding on Friday and left the following Saturday morning. The wedding party all stayed there along with immediate family. It was a wedding week. I highly recommend staying here and plan on coming back if we plan a family reunion.
