Positive: Nice room, resonably quiet. Room waa equipped with a hair dryer & tea/coffee making facilities Pin code to open door was much better than having a key. Breakfast (paid extra, not incl) was a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, breakfast pastries aswell as a hot offering - NOT a full English as you may expect though..... still nice & tasty I cut my stay short as had to return home unexpectedly so didnt get to take in any sights or experiences

Negative: Wasnt too keen on the explanation of 'how Booking.com means they get paid less due to fees.... thats expected & probably the downside to business.

Positive: Breakfast was a lovely surprise and the owner was very informative and entertaining. Good fun was had with the other guests at our table and it made quite an impression to interact with the other guests. 10 out of 10.

Negative: Our stay was too short.

Positive: The hotel was close to a bus stop which was important for using public transport. The breakfast was very interesting. 8 of us sat together round a large table, which meant we met other guests. There were cereals, fruit, etc. The hot course was mainly fish or fish and eggs (kippers, herrings, smoked haddock with egg) - traditional Scottish breakfast. The hotel was a traditional older house.

Negative: My son said that his shower was not very hot.

Summary: This was an interesting stay and the hotel was convenient for what we wanted to do.
