Summary: The staff were really helpful and friendly, even accommodating our family for breakfast that were not staying at the hotel. A couple of things I feel needed mentioning, we were in room 5, the room was not very warm (quite cool in fact), Great hot water for bath, Bed was really hard and uncomfortable (sheets were lovely and soft), TV remote did not work and there was no milk for tea.

Summary: We absolutely love the Elmer. We have stayed before and as previously, we were treated wonderfully by everyone. It’s a dog friendly pub & all the team spoilt out dog rotten, and he enjoyed the stay more than us. The room is clean and functional but the food & especially the breakfast nothing short of magnificent. Fresh and local produce making for a delicious meal. Elmer is a beautiful village and the pub is at the heart of the village. The Elmer is a credit to the village. We will certainly be back.

Summary: A pub in a tiny seaside village. Not a 'destination'. It was fine for me because I just needed to break a journey. The pebble beach is about a five min walk from the hotel. You have to walk down a path between the houses. Beach is really beautiful once you find it. Hotel itself overlooks houses and a car park The room was very clean. Unfortunately the curtains were missing from the front window. There was a big hole where the rail had clearly fallen out the wall. There were blinds but they didn't keep the light out. The double bed was tiny and the single was rock hard. My daughter didn't sleep very well. Best thing was the staff and the breakfast. Breakfast was good quality ingredients and cooked very nicely. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back unless they replaced the old uncomfortable beds and fixed the curtain rails Its a shame because it would take so very little for this to be a really lovely hotel

Summary: When we arrived we were shown to our room our bags were taken upstairs for us which I thought was very nice, the room was nicely decorated, comfy beds and pillows our bathroom was very nice and spacious, we had a cooked breakfast which was cooked to perfection plenty of tea and coffee, I would definitely stay here again ⭐
