Summary: The Ellery was a welcome stop on our trip. Everything was comfortable, from the room, the bed, the shower, to the lovely shared spaces. Breakfast was delightfully delicious with plentiful options. I felt like I was able to pull together a perfect breakfast to set us off on the remainder of our journey. I found the staff to be very welcoming and knowledgable. Everything was smooth and easy. I highly recommend!

Summary: All in all a pleasant stay.staff are welcoming and helpful. Room is clean furnishings are functional but dated. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Park in front of room with Breakfast room / common room available 24/7 for gathering, relaxing, coffee / tea etc. Continental breakfast is nicely served with gracious hosting. In a quiet residential area, 5 min / convenient to Northampton, Smith College; 20 min to Amherst. Know in advance: There are 2 stories. Clunking from 2nd can wake up the 1st. The tub/shower and toilet have no grab bars.

Summary: The convenience of the Ellery to Smith College is unbeatable. Rooms were nice beds were comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. More places to put things would be helpful like an extra luggage rack more hooks and shelves in bathroom.

Summary: Wonderful staff!! Good breakfast with gluten free options! Cleanliness was pretty disappointing. Don't know if sheets were fresh, hair on floor and in tub... Great location for visiting the area.

Summary: Excellent continental breakfast and all-day beverages and snacks avail. A/C worked well. Encountered a snafu at check-in but when the owner found out about it, she was extremely apologetic and hospitable— she was lovely.

Summary: Well appointed room, comfy bed and pillows, good quality toiletries, hair dryer, mini fridge, chairs to sit outside in a common area, very close to town. A/C very loud and woke us up throughout the night, and the hotel is noisy overall in that you can hear people walking in the hallways and other rooms.

Summary: I LOVE staying at the Ellery. The staff is always so kind and helpful, my room is always clean, and I love getting breakfast in the morning and eating in the homey “living room” space downstairs.

Summary: The hotel was very clean and the owner payed attention to details. The community room was inviting with coffee and snacks available at all times. Our room was pristine and she added special touches. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others
