Positive: It’s gorgeous: a south-facing view of the sea in practically every room. Painted a bright white throughout and tastefully decorated with local artists’ prints - just enough to give it some personality. A beautiful combination of an older property with character and clean modern fittings. And talking of clean… it is spotless.

Negative: The only tiny downside was the restricted head height in the corridor: at 6”, my husband smacked his head several times, but it wasn’t a big enough deal to spoil our stay.

Positive: The Eaves is a great flat. It's comfortable, cosy, clean, and very tastefully decorated. The Seaviews are great, and access to cafés, restaurants, and bus services is great too. It's very well equipped. The owner responded quickly to a maintenance problem and got it sorted. He was easily contactable and very helpful.

Negative: Parking is a potential problem, particularly for packing and unpacking days. It's potluck if you can find somewhere close by. Most of the week, I used the buses and left my car parked several minutes walk away.. Otherwise I would highly recommend this flat.

Positive: Wonderful location, right on the beach. Safe, because we were on the 2nd floor. Great eaves windows meant we could leave them open at night to listen to the waves and enjoy the cooling breezes. Really well provisioned apartment, had everything you needed.

Negative: Only issue is parking, which isn't allocated, but strangely we were always able to find a park at the front along the street, and the car we had was tiny, which was ideal. Not a lot they can do to change this, maybe if the owners had a Resident's Permit which guests could use, otherwise you have to move your car every 2 hours.

Summary: Very comfortable stay in a well provisioned and comfy apartment. Nice and quiet, right on the beach.

Positive: Property was booked for my niece and her friend, over from America for the first time as lone travellers. They were thrilled with the size and quality of the property after hostel accommodation, and loved the fantastic sea views on both sunny and stormy days. Special thanks to Tim and Nicky for being so helpful to them and leaving a lovely note for my niece to wish her a happy birthday. They had a fantastic time and didn't want to leave
