Summary: Greeting was good. Room spacious and beds comfy. Csn hear outsid enoise as we looked over the high street but it is an okder building. Served us well for our 1 night stay.

Summary: I think it really good value and there are aspects that are excellent.The staff are really good.Included breakfast and coffee and indian buffet. What I didnt like is the lack of fire signs at rear near room 18. It bothered me my entire stay and flagged it up a frw times. If you use tbe rear fire you could lose your way in the smoke and perish. I have reported this a few times to the hotel. I would be amazed if they listened and improved FIRE EXIT door signs which are hidden. All other doors were locked so it is a bit of a worry.

Summary: First time to check in with no one at reception. It was the Barman that checked us in and he didn’t have much to say . Staff didn’t speak much, which is not something I’ve come across before. I suppose they aren’t happy working there?

Summary: We had booked 2 executive suites with a double and 2 single beds in each even given room numbers 25 & 27. However this is not what we got, one room had a double bed and the other a double and one single, neither of which could be described as executive.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay the hotel was a lite tired, enjoyable. Good food was served oth at breakfast and in the evening.

Summary: The room was clean and there was everything I needed, but the stair carpet was really filthy and grubby, the out side was untidy with weeds growing around the base of the building ,painting was needed everywhere to improve the look, we booked an evening meal ,but had to make do with the meal in the rather dingy bar that smelt of dogs, as the restaurant was not open that night

Summary: Eagles Hotel is located in a pleasant location with nice views (subject to room allocation). Breakfast is good, but is buffet style and with so few rooms, it would VERY good if it was made to order (avoid waste and serve hot). However, Eagles is very tired and in need of updating. Windows provide no noise insulation from the busy road and hotel activity outside that begins around 7am each day, or the beer garden in the evening. Despite claims of daily housekeeping, we stayed 4 nights and NO housekeeping is provided during your stay.
