Positive: Clean with nice staff

Negative: Seemed to be a little economical with the heat. It could have done with being a couple of degrees warmer. Having said that it was -1°C outside

Positive: The food was good, however, I was disappointed that when friends booked for dinner at 5.30 pm for 7 of us we thought we would get the full menu choice. We were told we had to have the early menu, we should have been told of this at the time of reserving the table.

Positive: Location between Romsey, Winchester and Salisbury ideal for those exploring the area. Beautiful well-appointed and spotlessly clean room with comfy mattress. Ample parking with private access to rooms from car park. Evening meal excellent with varied menu and really attentive staff. Breakfast was pre-paid with a few choices on the menu. Again, the staff were attentive providing good coffee, tea and juices.

Negative: Very hard pillows which impacted on sleep. We will bring our own pillows when we next stay.

Positive: Property is lovely with a modern, old fashion twist so you remember how old this beautiful place is. Room, Pub, restaurant, staff were all great. Food was excellent and it was all homemade quality and you could tell from every bite and every course!
