Summary: Beautiful hotel. Bathroom odd layout. Blow dryer was very old and hardly working. Both room and bathroom were very clean. Great historic hotel. While restaurant is closed, grill was great for full or continental breakfast.

Summary: In the past, I have a love staying at the Driscoll. It’s one of my all-time favorite places in Austin because it’s so beautiful in historic. However, this time it fell short. I ordered room service that turned out to be cold. I couldn’t get the hairdryer to go above a certain wattage, the room was cold and unfriendly. We couldn’t watch television due to it being so far from the bed and experience in general was a little bit disappointing.
