Positive: In fabulous pristine condition. Owner has done a great job of setting it up with modern design and equipment. Awesome air con for what turned out to be 100 deg!

Negative: It’s not that we didn’t like it but the great view of the Duoro River could have been architecturally exploited by positioning larger view windows on view side. The view is a million dollar view

Summary: Perfect for a base in area. Could have spent aa lot more time here

Positive: The house is amazing with a beautiful view to the Douro River. The pool is private and you can use the space privately.

Negative: The cleaning service (I assume) entered the house without permission or even ringing the bell. It felt like someone could enter the house at any time… honestly, it was very strange

Positive: The host was very friendly and kind and looked out for us during a nationwide blackout. The house and garden/pool are really spacious and ideal for staying with a baby. We also enjoyed the view a lot and would definitely recommend staying here

Negative: The chairs at the pool would be nice with some cushions

Positive: - Free parking - Great location if you have a car - Welcoming host - Clean apartment - In summer it has to be great with outside table + pool

Negative: - It takes some time to figure it out heating system - It would be nice to have sleepers because the floor is quite cold.

Positive: This villa was the accommodation with the highest C p value during our one-month trip to Spain and Portugal. The entire villa occupies a very large area with a swimming pool. The room is also very spacious and well-equipped. It is very clean. It is the first choice for visiting the Douro Valley.
