Summary: Loved our 4-night stay at the Don Cesar with my husband and 3 year old! The hotel & beach were clean, the staff was lovely, and the pink details were so fun. Nothing beats lounging on that beach under the pink striped umbrellas. The spa was luxurious & the live band at the Lobby Bar was fabulous. The bathroom was small, but that's to be expected of any historic hotel. It was still very nice. My only disappointment was the value at Maritana, the property's fine dining restaurant. The food was good, but $42 for two scallops on a bit of sweet potato puree was ridiculous. Overall, though, we were very pleased with our stay and felt like the Pink Palace became our beachfront "home away from home." We intend to come back regularly!

Summary: LOVED this hotel. The art deco pink historic vibe is awesome as is the pool, the beach, the unique coffee shop (yay no starbucks) and, restaurants are good albeit a bit pricey. The rooms are a tad small, but the bldg is old, so there is that consideration --- but overall, we LOVED our time spent here and if I was to go back to St. Pete I would stay here in a second.
