Positive: We loved the privacy and full experience of being in nature. The Dome is the prefect place to escape the busy city life and offered us exactly what we needed - rest. It is central and easy access to all the walking tracks and small historic towns.

Negative: A mirror in the dome would be great, as we were getting ready for a wedding, so had to put on makeup in the bathroom which was full of condensation after our shower.

Summary: Lovely quiet spot - thought we heard a kiwi!

Positive: The photos don’t quite do the room justice — it’s actually much more spacious in person. We really enjoyed the peace and greenery. The host was super friendly and even went bush to help us retrieve a lost drone!

Positive: The Dome was incredible, nice location, clean facilities and spacious bathroom. Nice warm greetings from the host and clear instructions of how to get there. We enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this venue for your relaxing getaway.

Positive: It was so soothing being out in the bush and away from the small surrounding towns. It was refreshing coming from the city and away from the hustle and bustle. Had everything you need with a great shower and all the amenities you would need for a short stay. Not too far from the nearest towns!

Negative: Not a huge problem, but you do need to go through two gates and if you are travelling alone it takes a bit getting out to open gates and drive forward etc which is what I found was a hassle doing myself. I would recommend taking everything you might need including dinner if its just the night trip so you can base yourself out in the bush without having to travel back out until the morning.
