Positive: The hotel is brand new so that makes a stay always so much nicer. Rooms are great with a great view! And they are very quiet and easy to get to with various elevators. Very good breakfast as always in Sweden. Lot's of choices at the buffet and plenty of space to sit.

Negative: Not all rooms have a desk to work at. You have to ask for a room with a desk if you would want to work a bit in your room.

Summary: Great brand new hotel at a very convenient location in Södertälje.

Positive: The best ever and most generous – in terms of bedding quality and hence sleep quality – in 30 years of travel across five continents, including numerous 5*+ exclusive hotels. Excellent and practical top-of-the-range room and bathroom specification and facilities, exactly as expected by an executive business traveller, even when compared with some of the very best hotels in Stockholm, which it easily beats. By Scandinavian standards, The Dock is certainly outstanding value for money.

Positive: I think the rooms were nice, and the staff was very kind. The room and the view were very beautiful. It was also great that they allowed our cat to stay, and they had no issues with that at all. The building is very nice, and I couldn’t hear any sounds in the room it was well insulated and clean. The shower and bathroom were also in good condition. The bed was fine, although the pillow was maybe a bit weak, but that’s a matter of personal preference! :)

Negative: I felt that it is a very noisy hotel (not in the rooms), but at the reception there are way too many people. It feels very crowded, and there are also guards, which makes it feel a little uncomfortable, as if something is wrong. I also did not like that they asked for your credit card at the reception because of the “mini bar.” I think it is very old-fashioned to take someone’s credit card like that you can simply use the card machine to place a hold without seeing the card number or the back, in my opinion. Finally, everything in the hotel seems to come with an extra charge. For the price of the room, some drinks could be included, in my opinion.
