Summary: Parking is on the street but very close and safe. If we are back in area would definitely stay here again

Summary: Second time staying here in the downtown of Gonzales. It is a great location. Clean hotel with minimal amenities, but we were hardly in the room. The movie theater is across the square along with Come and Take it bar and grill across the street. The food there is great. Not sure when it was converted into a hotel, but we love it. Also, visit The Nighowl craft beer bar right around the corner. All of this plays into a great small charm feeling. Then there is Ottine Springs about 20 minutes away from Gonzales square.

Summary: The hotel was nicely decorated and looked clean. Available & free parking. But had to speak to someone in the next door restaurant to obtain assistance. No one ever at the front desk. Our bathroom cabinet was broken, the chain to turn off the fan in the room was broken so couldn’t stop the fan without turning off the bedroom light. Initially our tv remote didn’t work but they immediately fixed it. Just wish staff was more available so we could also ask about the town and obtain info.

Summary: Super cute place to stay at. Right in Downtown with restaurants right next door. Great place to stay. Parking in on the streets next to the hotel but it's a safe town. Highly recommend

Summary: This hotel is next to an Italian restaurant. Free parking everywhere around the hotel. Other bar and grill and restaurants walking distance from hotel. Lots of antique shops. The room was nicely decorated. The plumbing in the tub needs work: tub spout leaks when using the shower. The shower head leaks when being used. Other than that its a nice little room for one or two people.

Summary: It’s a lovely boutique hotel that has historic origins but has been fitted out very nicely now as a hotel. The attached Italian restaurant is excellent - we had two meals there and thoroughly enjoyed each. There is no staff to deal with - a lady came from the restaurant to let us our room key and we never saw anyone then. Lots of history in the area - 20 minutes to Shiner and the Spoetzel brewery for the tours there. 10 minutes from the Ottine Mineral Springs Spa. We’ve recommended it to friends travelling soon to the area.

Summary: My room was an interior room. Yes, think inside stateroom on a cruise ship ie, no windows. I noticed the hand towel that was hanging up was damp meaning it was used. I didn't report it since there was a dry one available. Could not get the TV to go on but since i arrived back to my room aftet 9:00pm, I didn't want to bother anyone. Bed was comfortable enough. Didn't use the shower so no comments on this.
