Positive: Nice location but difficult approach road and parking

Negative: The access road and parking needs to be improved. Also the room cleanliness needs improvement.

Summary: Nice stay with family but I think it’s slightly overpriced

Positive: Prime location Good construction Wifi was good and they were adjusting to facilitate use of their office for use of wifi during my daughter's exam

Negative: Wheelchair / lift access to rooms. It was painful to have my family climb up to the rooms after each meal . Food was horribly spicy- apart from breakfast which was very basic Power cut intermittently with no back up

Positive: Location is ultimate. Food is limited but whatever they serve are the best foods. Managers are friendly and help you in every need. Worth every penny. Front of the room you will get the best mountain view and the back of the room there is deodar forest

Positive: The property is located at an exceptional place. The cottage was sqeaky clean with all necessary facilities. The staff needs a special mention as they were extremely welcoming and helpful. The chef is also quite skilled at his craft as whatever we ordered over 3 days was absolutely delicious. We are frequent travel and it is very rare to experience such great hospitality at one place. I hope they keep up the great work and we look to visit again in future.

Positive: It was a wonderful stay at Deodar Stays. I went with family and we had booked a family cottage. The rooms were big. Had two double beds. Beds were comfortable. Toiletries including dental kit were there. Towels and bed linens were clean. The view from the cottage was great. They also arranged for Bonfire at nominal charges. The food was also tasty. The adventure activities were nearby. Its inside the Deodar forests and you can take a stroll as well. Overall we liked the stay and will prefer to stay there when we go to Kanatal again.

Positive: The location is absolutely beautiful with cosy cottages amidst the Kaudia forest, overlooking the mountains. The staff is exceptionally hospitable and kind.

Negative: Having room heaters/ mattress heaters is necessary in winters as it can get very cold
