Positive: The den was lovely and snug, the log burner was a lovely warming feature on a November night to sit in front of and read a book. Super clean, super comfortable. The hosts are wonderful, and their little shop is an absolute Welsh gem! I loved every second and am hopefully going to return in the summer with my mum.

Positive: Lovely little cottage. Great location with everything we needed. It was clean and the hosts were contactable if needed. There was a great little park just up the lane for our children too. Great base for a trip to Anglesey.

Positive: The Den is in a lovely location but there is nothing to do in the village itself so staying put was not an option for us. That said, the places we wanted to go to were only a short drive away. The Den was very cosy and there was a lovely log burner if it was really cold.

Negative: The only irritation was the noise from the people in the flat upstairs which was late at night.
