Positive: The property has a lot of charm in its old age and that’s why we booked it, loved the individual character that only a property like this can provide.

Negative: Being an older property not everything is in perfect condition, however that is to be expected and what gives an old place like this its charm.

Positive: The staff at this property are very friendly and made a great impression on us. Our room was very nice and we appreciate the staff making sure we were comfortable. I can't stress enough how helpful they were. Our bed and room was very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was nothing fancy, but still quite nice.

Negative: Nothing, we did have some issues with our satnav finding the property, but then we sorted it out.

Positive: Very comfortable and well located property. Good facilities. Great room, very spacious. Staff were so helpful and efficient. Breakfast was super. Everything neatly arranged and nothing seemed too much trouble at all. Good bar facilities for the evening, would happily return,

Positive: Very comfortable room and beds, nice and quiet. Staff recommended dinner at the other Pub. Very good and reasonable and nice to have a little walk.

Negative: Breakfast was OK but not very exciting. Packets of everything was a bit disappointing. Bathroom was a bit tired.

Summary: Good stopover after a long drive, would stay again.
