Summary: The Crofting Inn is a comfortable friendly family oriented B&B. It is not fancy, but well maintained, with many points of beauty, including pictures, quilts, and wall hangings.The communal breakfast is tasty and leads to interesting and entertaining conversation among the guests. The owner/operators pay attention to detail to make the stay enjoyable. There are no TV's but the WiFi is good. It is well situated, near to central Cloudcroft and it fits in well with the low-key, yet stimulating environment of this beautiful mountain town. If you want all the hotel amenities, go somewhere else, but if you want a comfortable, centering, enjoyable stay, Crofting Inn is a good choice.

Summary: The place is quite cozy and the host is super friendly. The hot breakfast was also exceptional. Unfortunately the bed was simply awful- the worst I can recall ever sleeping in. It was thin, completely worn out and led to the worst night sleep I have had in a very long time.
