Summary: Modernised hotel, comfortable room with a large bathroom. All food is vegetarian. Cooked breakfast was decent size, though prefer pork or beef sausages. 15 min walk to Helensburgh centre.

Summary: The room was really nice, the welcome you got from the owner was limited . It was strange that the restaurant only did vegetarian food, we had pizza's which were nice ,also they only did alcohol free drinks

Summary: The room was very well decorated, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and polite. The breakfast was a letdown. They should have put some yoghurts and pastries. I understand they are vegetarians, but I like to eat eggs in the morning. No beans either. Sorry, but you can't just have it one way. A hotel should cater for all, otherwise you should put very clearly that is vegetarian only.

Summary: Quiet, clean but basic. All I needed. Menu (meatless) was a bit limited bur food served was good, though a bit “chips with everything”.

Summary: Ideally situated with restaurants and shops nearby. Helensburgh is delightful. Well managed with comfortable beds and really great young lady in the breakfast room who was exceptionally helpful. Really enjoyed our stay with friends.
