Positive: Very clean! Esme the friendly horse was a lovely surprise and the chicken eggs were very much appreciated! The wood burner was so easy to use and the wood provided was plentiful for our stay. We loved it. Thank you.

Negative: Can’t think of anything we didn’t like. We would like to come back.

Positive: Ann and Bob We're excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating. Wifi was great, kitchen and bath were excellent, Easy parking, comfortable beds, no complaints at all.

Negative: Our only dissatisfaction, and we were warned, is that there were a couple of places where we had to duck our heads Because of low headroom in a doorway. All things considered, it's absolutely no big deal at all. Recommend this place highly!

Summary: Excellent location, quiet and comfortable accommodations. Highly recommended.

Positive: Lovely quaint cottage, owners very helpful. There were steps down to the kitchen or up to the bathroom but this wasn’t an issue for us. We were able to buy fresh eggs from the owners of the cottage. Location excellent for a wedding we were attending.

Negative: Ceilings a little low in places but not really an issue for us.

Summary: We had an enjoyable stay and felt this cottage was good value for money.

Positive: Lovely little cottage with everything you need. Great base for a perfect few days of walking. Friendly hosts!

Negative: Low ceiling for the kitchen and bathroom didn’t bother me as I’m 5ft but my other half hit his head a few times. We did know before booking though and it wouldn’t stop us visiting again

Positive: Lovely cottage in a beautiful countryside setting. We chose to stay there for the weekend as it was within walking distance of Beacon Down vineyard, which we were visiting for a tour and wine tasting. Ann and Bob are perfect hosts, even letting us taking over their personal bbq which was already fired up, to save us starting from scratch on the guest bbq.

Negative: The ceilings are low if you’re tall (especially in the kitchen, where my 6ft 3 boyfriend couldn’t fully stand up), but that is clear in the description and adds to the character of the place.

Summary: Lovely, relaxed stay in a beautiful countryside cottage with super hosts.

Positive: Entry to this quaint ,traditional english tri level cottage is very easy, we called upon arrival and were buzzed in. We were given a remote for the gate and keys, which was all easy to operate. It was what we expected in a traditional cottage, our host had said some people were upset about the stairs but honestly, if yu don't read the description thats the fault of the person booking the accomm as it is outlined. As explained the kitchen has a low roof and the stairs are narrow and steep, which was completely fine for us, we're in our 40's and fit and healthy. It all added to the charm of the cottage. The bed is super comfy, the place is very clean, The host was lovely and very accommodating when i pre-asked about mirrors for makeup and a fan as it was one of Englands 3 hot days in the summer! The gardens are lovely and its a very relaxing space. Our host even gave me a darker towel to shower with as i'd mentioned i was wearing fake tan and makeup for a wedding. We bought some fresh chicken eggs and honey from the host on the way out which made fabulous gifts! It would also be lovely in winter as there is a fire and many books to read and a comfy couch. Would highly recommend for a stay!!

Negative: Would have liked a facewasher but i'm sure if i asked we would have received one. We were just so busy I forgot to ask.
