Positive: the cosy barn hosts were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help, the donkey and pony were lovely to see, the host offered us eggs which were lovely

Positive: The Cosy Barn is aptly named...it is so cosy and homely. We got such a lovely friendly welcome from Brigid and Pat. They checked in with us each day to see if we needed anything. Brigid kindly treated us to her very delicious home baked buns. The Cosy Barn is a great base for touring west Clare.We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Positive: Lovely cottage. Excellent location and walking distance 2 miles down the country lane to the most fantastic family safe, all sand beach and shallow water inlet. It’s a local secret spot. Bridget really cares about her guests and to provide all you need 5 mins driving from Doonbeg and 10 mins from Kilkee. 20 mins to Kilrush.
Negative: Internet was spotty a couple of times when windy. I worked and it never really interfered too much. Dark kitchen so light always on.

Negative: A higher pressure shower would have helped with the children. Not a criticism by any means but something it would benefit from.

Positive: Everything was exceptionally clean. It was in the middle of nowhere. There was a lovely blue-flag beach nearby.
Negative: As the name suggested, it was a barn. Literally. It was advertised as pet-friendly, but the owner freaked out when we showed up with my wife's assistant dog. It was advertised as having a garden view, but instead, it had a nice view of the animal feeding area. There was not too much privacy as the owner was always there and never left us alone.
